Sierra Vista Arabians was established in 1977, by Jerry and Midge Martinez in
Longmont, Colorado. A few *Bask bred mares and the Khemosabi++++ son Khareeb, were the center of a small breeding and showing
program. Their small children, Gary and Kelly, grew up in the horse business and both began riding and showing horses at the
age of two. As the Sierra Vista herd grew, the stallions Reno LP (*Enoss x Roshaana) and Kaset (AAF Kaset x Mark IV Evergreen)
were added as outcrosses on the Khareeb daughters. All three stallions were shown and became Champions. Now, three decades
later, another Khemosabi++++ son, Khemosonni+/, and a Reno LP grandson, Psyches Safari are the cornerstone stallions of our
breeding program. Sierra Vista Arabians has grown to be the source for quality Arabian show, pleasure and breeding horses.
Today, Sierra Vista Arabians is one of northern Colorado's premier horse facilities and is located near Ft.
Lupton, Colorado, at the Double D Ranch. Some of our amenities include:
